On the day, you’ll be able to look at range of vehicles from manufacturers such as Nissan, Mercedes, Tesla and VW. Not only that but the driving instructors that run these cars are hugely knowledgeable and passionate about their vehicles, so if you’re considering a move to EV this is the place for you.

The Leicestershire Fire Service offer a fully immersive 360 degree experience to raise road safety awareness in their kitted out VR van. Understand more about the four most common causes of traffic collisions involving new and young drivers – speeding, using a mobile device, not wearing a seatbelt, drink & drug driving.

Come and meet the Disability Driving Instructor team on stand 19 and have a chat about what is involved. You could also take a look at tuition cars fitted with a variety of adaptations to see how disabled people are able to learn to drive.

  • Find out about the specially discounted prices for driving instructors that we have negotiated with the adaptation manufacturers and how Disability Driving Instructors can help promote your driving school and the specialist services that you offer.
  • Discuss details of our on-line training packages with DDI staff. These courses will be available soon to help you develop your skills when teaching people with physical disabilities, educational needs and learning difficulties as well as those with hearing difficulties.

Blind driving experiences with the Speed Of Sight

Speed Of Sight empower disabled people of all ages through our driving events at various venues around the country. They rely on volunteer driving instructors to help run their driving events. We’ll be giving you a chance to take a guided blindfolded drive around an outdoor track, to get a little experience of what a rewarding experience this is.
