The Driving Instructor Convention, Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre, Staffordshire, Sunday, 12th May 2024

The Driving Instructor Convention is a one-day conference, jointly organised by Intelligent Instructor and the ADINJC. Intelligent Instructor is the UK’s market-leading publisher in the driving instructor market and the ADINJC is the largest national driving instructor association. Both organisations have successfully worked in partnership to run these types of events since 2019, and have established a reputation of being providers of the most professional and best-attended driving instructor events in the UK.

The Driving Instructor Convention will see top trainers and respected industry professionals deliver in-depth, presentations and engaging workshops, on the main stage. Each session will dovetail one another seamlessly in a high-energy, fast-paced day of continuous learning, helping the instructor develop new skills to become better driver trainers. This round table event will also see a facilitated workshop in the afternoon and a lively panel debate too. Around 200 instructors are anticipated to attend, all of whom will earn a CPD certificate too.

A dedicated expo area will enable instructors to interact with industry suppliers, during the regular refreshment breaks. All delegates will enjoy a full array of refreshments served throughout the day, including at delegate registration (hot drinks and pastries), mid-morning (hot drinks and biscuits), lunch (buffet style lunch), and mid-afternoon (hot drinks and cakes).

Networking event – four-course evening meal, Intellinget Isntor Awards presentation, charity raffle and live entertainment

The Convention will be held in the purpose-built conference centre at Yarnfield ParkConference & Events Centre, which is complete with hotel and on-site restaurant. The night prior, attendees are welcome to attend networking dinner. A welcome drinks reception leads into a four-course meal in a private dining area, with evening entertainment which includes a comedian, the Intelligent Instructor Awards 2024 presentation and a charity raffle.
