The Driving Instructor Convention, Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes, takes place on the 22nd March 2026.

The Driving Instructor Convention is the UK’s premier, one-day conference, jointly organised by Intelligent Instructor and the ADINJC.  The event will see top trainers and respected industry professionals deliver in-depth presentations on the main stage. Each session will dovetail one another seamlessly in a high-energy, fast-paced day of continuous learning, helping the instructors develop new skills to become better driver trainers. A sell-out 250 audience is anticipated, all of whom will earn a CPD certificate.

A dedicated expo area will enable instructors to interact with 30+ industry suppliers during the regular refreshment breaks. All delegates will enjoy a full array of refreshments served throughout the day.

The event will be held in the purpose-built conference centre at Kents Hill Park, which has a hotel and on-site restaurant.

For those wanting to make a weekend of it, why not attend The Intelligent Instructor Gala Dinner on Saturday night? It’s the social networking event of the year for driving instructors! Over 175 guests are anticipated and will enjoy live entertainment, socialising, and celebrating industry success through the Intelligent Instructor Awards trophy presentation. The purpose-built Kents Hill Park includes a hotel and on-site restaurant, making it ideal for hosting this event, flowing seamlessly into The Driving Instructor Convention the following day.

There’s a welcome drinks reception and a three-course buffet dinner. Our professional comedian/magician/mind-reading host will dictate proceedings, which include the Intelligent Instructor Awards and charity auction. A late bar license enables networking into the early hours.
